Charlie is the Minister of Senior Adults at the Sweetwater Baptist Church in North Augusta, South Carolina. He was born in Orlando, Florida, and grew up attending First Baptist Church of Orlando. He is a graduate of Stetson University (Bachelor of Music Education), and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Church Music/ Minor in Religious Education). Having previously served a local church for 27 years as a Minister of Music, Charlie has accepted a new calling on his life to minister to senior adults here at Sweetwater. Charlie started his ministry in March of 2024. He is married to Nancy Crews.
